HI ALL,
COLIN WAS KIND ENOUGH TO SEND ME SOME LIBERTY MOLLIES A FEW WEEKS AGO. THERE SEEMS LITTLE INFO ON THEM. ARE THEY JUST A VARIATION ON THE SPHENOPS OR ARE THEY A SEPERATE SPECIES. ANY INFO ON WATER, FEEDING ETC WOULD BE HELPFUL.
THANKS
KEITH[:-batman]

Depends on what fish you have got. Is it the sphenops cultivar or is it P. salvatoris?

But in generel they need large aquarium of 250 liter or more (as all larger mollies), lots of food whereof most should be veggies. The pH should be above 7 and temperature betwin 18-30C. Highest in the summer.

Hi all
Colin here .The sphenops mollies Kieth has i think are great.
As keith has told me there are no photos, this makes them hard to identify.Has anyone got any photos?????????
My fish as keith will agree are great in fresh water!!!
KEITH THESE FISH WILL EAT ANYTHING and mine are multipling very fast.
At the moment I have 1 female  and 3 males in a 2ft x 15 x 15 they have had 3 lots of babies since March and I now have a good lot of babies from the 3 broods.I am now considering splitting them.
I thought i would try these mollies after having no luck with the bread and butter mollies( as with most livebearers very week strains ) they are great (or at least mine are! )
IF ANYBODY HAS ANY PHOTOS (AGAIN) PLACE THEM HERE PLEASE.
My fish have really good red DORSAL AND TAIL FINS
HAPPY FISH KEEPING
COLIN
